Returns, replacements, and product-related issues must be coordinated with us before a return is sent. Depending on the product and fulfillment partner involved, a specific return address may be provided.
Products may be produced, fulfilled, packaged, or shipped in whole or in part through external partners, including print-on-demand, logistics, manufacturing, or white-label partners.
3. Our brand world
Parts of Dearly Found Studios — including Carter Roastery, Cedar Hollow, recurring characters, fictional places, archives, letters, and related storytelling elements — are part of an original fictional creative universe.
These elements are created for editorial atmosphere, storytelling, product context, and brand expression. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, they should not be understood as factual representations of real businesses, places, or persons.
Any resemblance to real persons, locations, or businesses is coincidental unless clearly identified as intentional.
4. Products, content, and availability
We reserve the right to add, change, revise, pause, limit, or discontinue products, collections, categories, content formats, newsletters, archives, services, and features at any time.

Any delivery times communicated are estimates unless expressly agreed otherwise.
Delays may occur due to production workflows, logistics, customs, seasonal demand, carrier issues, or other circumstances beyond our direct control.
If customs duties, import charges, local taxes, or similar fees apply in the destination country, these are generally the responsibility of the customer unless stated otherwise.
Returns must not be sent to our business correspondence address unless we explicitly instruct you to do so.
Product origin, manufacturing location, roasting location, packaging location, fulfillment location, and shipping location may differ depending on the product, production partner, and supply chain involved. Certain products may be manufactured, roasted, blended, packaged, or fulfilled by specialized third-party partners on our behalf.
9. Made-to-order and print-on-demand products
Some products are only made after an order is placed or are manufactured individually through external production partners.
Because of that, minor variations may occur. This may include, for example:
slight color differences
small print placement differences
normal material or texture variation
standard size tolerances within production ranges
slight differences between a mockup and the final product
Product images, previews, and mockups are used for illustration and presentation purposes. Differences caused by screens, lighting, materials, or production methods do not automatically constitute a defect.
10. Personalized or custom products
If we offer personalized, customized, or made-for-you products now or in the future, additional conditions may apply.
Where legally permitted:
personalized products may be excluded from cancellation or return
customers are responsible for the accuracy of submitted names, initials, text, files, or other custom input
customers may not submit unlawful, infringing, offensive, defamatory, or otherwise impermissible content
We reserve the right to reject customization requests that violate applicable law, third-party rights, or our own brand standards.
11. Digital products and permitted use
If Dearly Found Studios offers digital products now or in the future, these are provided for personal, non-commercial use only unless we explicitly state otherwise.
Unless a broader license is expressly granted, you may not:
resell digital products
redistribute, share, upload, or sublicense them
reproduce them for commercial use
modify them for resale or commercial exploitation
upload them to marketplaces, shared drives, or third-party platforms for broader distribution
All intellectual property rights remain with Dearly Found Studios.
12. Intellectual property
All content, brand elements, product concepts, names, texts, newsletters, story elements, visuals, graphics, layouts, characters, editorial concepts, and designs connected with Dearly Found Studios remain the intellectual property of Dearly Found Studios unless stated otherwise.
This includes, in particular, but is not limited to:

Cedar Hollow
recurring characters and fictional places
letters, archives, and editorial series
product concepts and collections
logos, illustrations, and visual brand assets
website copy, newsletter copy, and product copy
No part of this world may be copied, reproduced, distributed, commercially exploited, remixed, or used to create derivative commercial works without prior written permission.
Private appreciation does not create any right to commercial use.
13. AI-assisted creative process
Some visuals, fictional depictions, or design elements may be developed, refined, or supported with the help of AI-based tools.
That does not change the fact that the concepts, curation, story logic, characters, product ideas, visual direction, and brand execution are original creative works of Dearly Found Studios.
The use of creative tools does not grant any third party the right to copy, reuse, extract, remix, or commercially exploit our concepts or assets.
14. Newsletter and editorial formats
Users may voluntarily subscribe to newsletters, letters, editorial dispatches, updates, or similar communication formats offered by Dearly Found Studios.
A subscription does not create any entitlement to:
a certain publication frequency
a permanent series or format
the indefinite availability of specific letters, archives, issues, or editorial concepts
We reserve the right to change, expand, reduce, rename, pause, move behind registration, or discontinue any newsletter or editorial format at any time.

20. Cancellations, returns, complaints, defects, and sizing

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we also do not accept liability for damage, injury, loss, burns, allergic reactions, accidents, or other consequences resulting from:

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, users retain ownership of their content.
By voluntarily submitting content to us for publication, sharing, promotion, or display, users grant Dearly Found Studios a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, share, and use such content for marketing, editorial, community, or promotional purposes in connection with our brands and services.
